Baylor Urology treated me for my prostate cancer surgery in 2010, as well as the follow-up clinic visits through today. Basil has been instrumental in the follow-up care. Basil routinely reviews the lab results he orders and the lab results from other specialists treating me. He provides clear, concise assessments and insures I understand any recommendations for future treatment. Basil is always very responsive on My Chart and is on time for appointments. I am very happy to have Basil and the team at Baylor Urology taking care of my follow-up care.

Dr. Kaaki is great for a number of reasons: (1) very thorough exam, (2) taking the time to answer all questions, (3) helping me avoid surgery through Rx and physical therapy, and (4) very responsive through MyChart. I great doctor and a great communicator!

Urology-there’s often some very personal discussions that can be, well, embarrassing and/or difficult, especially as an older male, but having those discussions with Basil Kaaki , DMSc, PA-C, isn’t either one. I can’t recall in my 65+ years having felt so comfortable talking about such very personal topics with a doctor. When I had prostate surgery, Dr Khera told me about the procedure, but Basil was the one who listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. Some of those were extremely personal. He is down to earth and you don’t t have to talk to him in “medical” terms. I trust him.
There have been several PA’s over the years at Baylor College of Medicine that I worked with but if Basil ever leaves BCM, I told Dr Khera, I’ll do my best to follow him. I’ve referred several other men to Dr Khera and Basil at BCM Urology and all have been very pleased. The last one told me they saved his marriage. I think that says volumes about the kind of care they offer.

Dr. Kaaki is by far one of the best Doctors, if not the best, I’ve seen. Very professional, patient and genuinely takes the time to listen and address any and all questions without making you feel like you are on a clock or on a assembly line. I can not recommend highly enough.
